A community grew up in the area where the Hochs lived and was thus named Hochheim. Valentin Hoch’s home is a monument to the faith and courage of Valentin Hoch and other early Texan pioneers. In 2001, the Hochheim Historical Foundation was founded for the purpose of working on the restoration of the “Stagecoach Inn.”
